SG50 Lego Set

Lynn and Sera were very happy to receive the "Building My SG" Lego set from their school this week. They had been looking forward to this ever since they heard about it in the news. This "Building My SG" Lego set was a gift from the Ministry of Education (MOE) to all MOE students and teachers in Singapore to commemorate SG50 - Singapore's Golden Jubilee.

Each set came with an instruction booklet on how to build the three iconic Singapore landmarks - Cavenagh Bridge, Changi Airport and Gardens by the Bay. The instructions were also categorized into three levels of difficulty with level 1, 2, and 3 recommended for ages 7+, 13+ and 17+ respectively.

This was what Sera had built in school.

According to Lynn, it seemed that what Sera built was between level 1 and 2. Sera also added the 2 mini figures on the Cavenagh Bridge.

Below was the set built by Lynn in school. This was done in line with the set theme of a future Singapore that connects people.

It was supposed to be a bridge with plants and flowers.
