Lego minifigures series 12 minifigure review: Space Miner

Here's a Lego minifigures series 12 minifigure review of Space Miner! Here are 2 pictures of it.

I bought him at a Lego store and because I saw other people feeling the bags for the minifigures, I decided to go there and do that as well. I wanted the Swashbuckler or the Space Miner, so I went there and felt for the minifigures I wanted. Space Miner literally gave himself away because of his overly bulky armour. :P Oh well, at least I've gotten a minifigure I wanted, not like how I used to randomly pick minifigs. :P Overall, I think he looks really good! He also comes with a code which you can redeem on minifigures online to get him in game. That's it for now!

Lego Hero Factory Invasion From Below(HFIFB) set review: Crystal Beast vs Bulk

Here's my Lego HFIFB set review, Crystal Beast vs Bulk! I bought it from Metro three days ago. Before I post the actual pictures of the set here's a little edit to make it look like one of the scenes in the HFIFB movie!

I admit that it doesn't really look good, but I tried. :P Anyway here are the pictures of the actual set.

Crystal Beast(back view, tail down)

Beast: Looks quite good, despite the fact that it is rather short and doesn't have armour on its lower arms and legs. The back of the beast has some acceptable coverage. Weapon looks good also. (10/10)
Minifigure: BULK STOP LOOKING LIKE MEGATRON!!! O_o When I actually looked at Bulk's helmet in Brain Attack, I was thinking "Bulk's helmet looks like Megatron's head" and now his minifig sized helmet looks like Megatron to me AGAIN! Also, I do not get why does Bulk get a green head. To me, he would probably look better with an orange head, not green! (6/10)
Parts: Parts are great, AS ALWAYS! :P (10/10)
Total: 26/30
That's it for now and I hope this review helped you! :D

Lego Legends of Chima review: Vardy's Ice Vulture Glider

Here's a Lego Legends of Chima review of Vardy's Ice Vulture Glider! I bought it at Metro about 2 weeks ago. Here are 12 pictures of it.

The whole set

Lundor's little outpost thingy... :P

Minifigures: As usual, they look very good! Too bad the armour covers up most of the printing though. (10/10)
Vehicle: Looks ok I guess, but I don't get why is the escape function thingy also supposed to fly when the main vehicle is already flying. Furthermore, if Vardy wasn't frozen before, he would probably be able to fly, so it makes not much sense to have a flying minifigure in a flying vehicle on another flying vehicle(yes I know there are vehicles where a flying minifigure sits in a flying vehicle but this is just ridiculous! "Why is a flyer in a flyer in a flyer?"-JANGBRiCKS) And like a lot of the Lego sets nowadays, it has functions, not really just the little 'escape function' thing, but also the flick fire missiles! I think a lot of you know how it works so I'm a bit too lazy to make a video showing how it works. (9.5/10)
Pieces: Pieces are great, as usual! :P But, I'm also too lazy to list out all of the new parts that I have gotten in this set. :P (10/10)
Total: 29.5/30
That's it for now and I hope this review helped you in deciding your choice of sets!

Lego Legends of Chima set review: Wolf Legend Beast

Here's my Lego Legends of Chima set review, the Wolf legend beast! I know I haven't posted for a long time and it's because I am a bit busy with my school stuff, playing games(to release stress :P) and also partly because I am lazy and have no idea what to write on the blog. :P I bought this at Metro two days ago. Anyway here are the pictures of this set.

Minifigure: Like most of the legend beast sets, they included the minifigures that usually came in the more expensive sets and the legend beast sets are rather cheap so that's a good thing. Also, I've always wanted more wolves for my wolf tribe in my chima collection so I'm happy to have 1 more. :D (10/10)
Legend beast: Looks good, but somehow when I'm playing with the beast the legs simply just break off easily, especially the back legs. (9/10)
Pieces: I think this is the winning part of the set like all of the legend beasts sets have, especially the weapon piece for Worriz's weapon thingy! (10/10)
Total: 29/30
That's it for now and I hope this review helped you in deciding your choice of sets!

Lego Hero Factory Invasion From below set review: Stormer Freeze Machine

Here's a Lego Hero Factory Invasion From below set review, Stormer Freeze Machine! Here are 3 pictures of it.

Set review time!
Minifigure+jumpers: Nothing too special about them so... what's there to comment? Except for the fact that the Stormer minifig helmet looks fairly accurate to the normal size Stormer 1.0/breakout helmet, what's there to say? And besides, most of my comments on the jumpers are already said in my review of Rocka Stealth Machine, so read my comments on the jumpers there. (9.5/10)

Mecha: Meh... just your average mecha... except they used XL feet for this. :\ How come? But one thing I'm happy about is that instead of using a 5 long armour at the bottom of the cockpit, it has those kind of 3.0 paw pieces and attached is another piece that first came from 3.0. (9/10)
Pieces: YAY PIECES ARE AWESOME!!!!
1. Stormer helmet(duh!)
2. plain blue minifigure head
3. silver armour piece which is the mold that is used in all the Hero Factory minifigures
4. white HF minifigs arms
5. white HF minifigs legs
6. transparent blue canister piece
7. the piece used to hold the flick fire missiles
8. gunmetal grey/dark pearl grey piece that first came from Hero Factory in the 3.0 series
9. transparent blue outer cockpit piece
10. orange inner cockpit piece
11. gunmetal grey/dark pearl grey version of the feet that first came from Stormer XL
12. the ice blades... thingy(YES FINALLY GOT THOSE! :D)
(10/10)
Total: 28.5/30
That's it for now and I hoped this review helped you!

Lego Hero Factory Invasion from Below set review: Rocka Stealth Machine

Here's a Lego Hero Factory Invasion from Below set review of Rocka Stealth Machine! I bought this at The Brick Shop yesterday. Here are 9 pictures of it.

Jumper in container... thingy I guess :P

Minifigure+jumper: They're okay... I guess. They aren't the best Lego stuff... but still okay...I would LOVE to use Rocka's minifigure parts for the minifig version of my Self MOC but apparently there aren't any purple so I might have to use my purple modelling clay... But whatever they are good. However, one thing I dislike is how come the jumper has a tan 1 1/2 pin used to connect the black and orange parts together? It's so off colour scheme! But thanks to the function on the jumpers I will give a 0.5 point more. Here's the function.

)

(9.5/10)
Mecha: I am a little utterly disappointed with its physical appearance, especially when on the package it appears to be very bulked up and looks very armoured but when you actually build it it doesn't seem quite like I expected. I'm very disappointed. (5/10)
Pieces: YAY PIECES I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!! Enough said, let's go to the new pieces I get in this set and pieces that are rare that I get more of in this set.
New(to me):
1. Black 5 long armour piece(Yes at last I got these and in this set came 4!)
2. The jumper container piece in transparent bright green
3. lightsaber piece in bright green
4. Lime green cockpit piece that has the 2 minifig sized hooks for Exo-force claw thingy
5. transparent black/brown cockpit
6. Rocka minifig helmet
7. Rocka minifig arms
8. Rocka minifig legs
9. Lime green head
10. Technic hinge w/ pin size connector at the end
More:
1. Black version of the armour add-on piece that is on the mecha's 'shoulder'
2. Gunmetal grey/dark pearl grey feet
3. Gold 3 long armour piece
4. Gunmetal grey/dark pearl grey 4 long armour piece
5. Transparent green bottom half breakout shooters
(10/10)
Total: 24.5/30

Lego Hero Factory Invasion from Below review: Splitter Beast VS Furno and Evo

Here's a Lego Hero Factory Invasion from Below review, Splitter Beast VS Furno and Evo! I bought this at Metro 2 days ago. Here are 16 pictures of the set.

Bigger part of Splitter Beast's head bites Evo while trying to hit Furno with the lamp post it is holding, while Furno tries to pull Evo out with the fire chain they are both holding

Bigger part of Splitter beast collapses and smaller part of Spliter beast comes out and bites Furno and Evo curls his fire chain over the top part of small Splitter beast in an attempt to pull his jaw up for Furno to escape

To the review!
Minifigures: Yes some of you might be surprised but it is indeed that the heroes are downsized to minifigures. Why? Particularly because of sizing reasons. The creatures are supposedly gigantic compared to the heroes but if they really upsize the creatures to a gigantic size along with the mechs, then hardly anyone can buy it or even if they can buy it they have no space to put it because it would just be very big! That's why they downsized the heroes to a smaller size so that it will make the creatures seem gigantic compared to the heroes. Anyway enough of the reasoning now let's talk about my opinion on these. Personally, they look good but limited articulation is always the minus point of minifigures. And the best thing is, you can finally use non-existent head colours for your mini heroes' heads! :D That is probably the thing that I'm most happy about. (9 and a half/10)
Splitter Beast: The main reason that I gotten this is because I want the heads for my Hero Factory invasion from below upscale. :P Click here for more info on it. Anyway, onto the actual beast itself, I really like how it looks when both beasts are combined, but when they are separated, the bigger beast just looks terrible. I mean, like, seriously. If you have this set you should know. But anyway, it just looks great combined and I really think they shouldn't even have did that kind of function, but it's called "Splitter Beast" so it would be really weird if it can't split. :P (9/10)
Pieces: WINNING PART IS THE PIECES AGAIN!!!
New pieces:
Minifigures:
Whole Evo and Furno minifigure, with the exception of the fire blade and the gun Evo is holding because I got the blade from Kai's Fire Mech and the gun from one of the Galaxy squad sets.
Beast:
1. The heads(duh!)
2. The printed 4 long armour piece
3. Feet of both beasts in Splitter Beast
4. smallest torso piece that exist in Hero Factory sets
Pieces that I want more of:
1. YAY MORE TRANSPARENT REDDISH-ORANGE CLAWS!!!!
2. Transparent reddish-orange 3 long armour pieces
3. 4 long gunmetal grey/dark pearl grey armour pieces
4. Azure bones, 3rd shortest bone piece
5. The pieces used as 'claws' in flyer beast, used for smaller Splitter beast's front legs and bigger Splitter beast's tail.
That's it for now and I hoped this review helped you!
