Lego legends of chima ultrabuild set review: Chi Worriz

Here's my Lego legends of chima ultrabuild set review of Chi Worriz! I bought this set yesterday. Here's a picture of him.

Now here's the review.
Figure: It looks good, but I find it weird that LEGO put the 3 long technic connecter with ball joint in the middle right above the ball joint used to connect the front body armour. (9 and a half/10)
Colour scheme: It looks great! Dark red mixing with the gunmetal grey/dark pure grey, silver and bright red. (10/10)
Pieces: It's awesome! You get 4 dark red armour pieces which are new, the pieces which make up the sword(Although the hand with 3 cross axle holes and 3 long axle are not new), the grey fur like pieces etc.(10/10)
Total: 29 and a half/30
I hoped you like this review! By the way, I'm going to make a Chi Wizo from parts in this set and pieces in my boxes and other ultrabuilds of the wolf tribe(Maybe I'll make a Chi Wakz!)!

Lego Legends of Chima set review: Eglor's Twin Bike

Here's a Legends of Chima set review of Eglor's Twin Bike! I bought it at Metro yesterday. Here are 3 pictures of it.

Eglor's Twin Bike(In bike mode) and Razcal's Raven Helicopter

Eglor's Twin Bike(In flying mode)

Close up of Eglor and Razcal(He has a different chi armour piece by the way.)
One thing that is cool about this set is you can put on the wings for Razcal when he is without his Raven Helicopter(Which I prefer calling jetcopter since it's so small and does not look like a helicopter and since it's half jetpack half helicopter, I will call it a jetcopter.). At first, I thought they only put on the wings for show, but they do include a pair of wings for him so that you can put it on when he does not use the jetcopter. Anyway, let's review the set!
Minifigures: Great detail, as usual for all other Chima minifigs. However, I did get a duplicate minifig(Razcal is the duplicate since I had him already, but I already made him into custom Chima minifigs so not really counted) but it's okay since like I said in the bracket, I made the first Razcal that I got into custom Chima minifigs.(10/10)
Vehicles: Eglor's Twin Bike is just great! It can transform into other vehicle even without rebuilding it! Good job Lego! Also, Razcal's jetcopter is cool too. Here are 2 videos: First one is how to transform Eglor's bike and second video is me spinning Razcal's jetcopter's propeller.

(10/10)
Pieces: There are a lot of new pieces in this one! Dark blue feather-like pieces, the blue steering wheel like pieces, the silver piece on top of the blue steering like pieces, a new yellow technic piece which has a cross axle hole and an axle sticking out etc. It also includes a piece that's just introduced in what people call as 'Summer 2013' sets.(10/10)
Total: 30/30
OH MY GOODNESS!!! WOULD YOU LOOK AT THIS IT DESERVED MY FULL MARKS RATING!!! I highly recommend this set and here's the ratings list up to this date.(There are sets with the same ratings so please don't comment that in the comments as they will be deleted and the ratings will be from highest rated to smallest rated. If there are sets with same ratings, I'll go by date.)(Also, a lot of the sets I've reviewed did not use the template I used for this review. I only came up with it when I reviewed Brain Attack Bulk.)
Eglor's Twin Bike(Today's review): 30/30(Highly recommended)
Set 6117: 29 and a half/30(Highly recommended)(Although probably some of you may need to buy from places like Ebay now because when I bought that, Metro was trying to get rid of those so that they can place more new Lego sets and it was on discount so I bought it.)
Kai's Fire Mech: 29 and a half/30(Highly recommended)
Wakz's Pack Tracker: 29/30(Highly recommended)
Crawley's Claw Ripper: 29/30(Highly recommended)
Set 60017: 28/30(Highly recommended)
Brain Attack Breez: 27/30(Recommended)
Pyrox: 27/30(Recommended)
Brain Attack Bulk: 26/30(Recommended)
Bruizer: 24/30(Recommended)
That's it for now and I hope you like this review!

Lego bricks and more set review: 6117

Here's a Lego bricks and more set review of 6117 which contains the doors and windows essential for building houses! I bought this 2 days ago. Here are 3 pictures of the parts in this set.

Now, to the review.
Pieces: They are quite good, and most of them are new to me since I haven't have those pieces before. (15/15)
Examples of what to build with it: They do give good examples of what houses you can build with these doors and windows, but from my posts, you can tell that I prefer making my own creations more. Although, this is actually great for younger kids or people who just become fans of Lego like my younger sister to see some examples and perhaps get some inspiration. (14 and a half/15)
Total: 29 and a half/30(Another one that didn't pass the most newest record!)
By the way, if you didn't know, there is an app for Bricks and more, called Lego 4+. Dunno if it's actually for younger kids or not, but I enjoy playing the app especially with both the helicopter propeller and car/truck wheels or using the minifigure legs. If I only used car wheels, then it can be quite boring for me. See me play one round of this game in the following video!

That's it for now and I hope you enjoyed this review!

Lego Ninjago Review: Kai's Fire Mech

Here's a Ninjago review of Kai's Fire Mech! I bought it at Gift Greetings today. Here's a picture of it.

Minifigures: They look good and they are quite a lot of new parts for these minifigures! However, I do wish that stone warrior had the adult minifigure legs instead of the shorter ones(Which are supposedly for children minifigs).(9 and a half/10)
Vehicle/mech: An overall good small mech. Even for a small mech, like this, you can actually get a lot of fun with it! (10/10)

Pieces: A tons of new pieces!(Or at least for me.) I finally gotten the pieces that were released for some of the 2.0 sets that I've never gotten!(10/10)
Total: 29 and a half/30
Looks like this beat the last record by half! Well, that's it for now and I hoped you like this review!

Lego Bionicle Mask review

Here's a review of one of the Bionicle Masks which was produced in I don't know when, and I bought this at the Lego Store two days ago. Here are 2 pictures of it.

Because this is a rather old mask, I don't know the name of it as well and please don't blame me for that since I'm very young. By the way, I won't use the basic format/template which is for Lego Model reviews since it's just 1 piece. I bought this just because I wanted to use it for my Hero Factory MOCs, but little did I know this thing does not have a cross axle to attach it! Apparently, this is more suitable for the 2001-2003 heads which I don't have. Hoped you like this review!

Lego Hero Factory Brain Attack Review: Breez

Here's a Hero Factory Brain Attack review of Breez! I bought it at Metro yesterday. Here's a picture of it.

 Here's the review.
Figure: She looks good, but you know, like most Brain Attack figures, without the visors, they just look totally ugly. Also, the lower leg is quite unarmoured. (8/10)
Colour Scheme: It's great, but the brown and dark green is really out of place. (9/10)
Pieces: It really has a lot of new pieces for such a small set which only costs S$17.90! (10/10)
Total: 27/30
Again, it never beat my last record. Well, at least this got a recommend!

Lego Hero Factory Review: Pyrox

Here's a review of Pyrox! I bought it at Metro yesterday. Here's a picture of it.

Figure: Great as an overall, but you know, why does the lower arms of Pyrox has shorter limbs? Also, why wasn't there any of those normal length lower arm/lower leg pieces? (8/10)
Colour scheme: Again, head out of  figure's colour scheme. (9/10)
Pieces: Total awesomeness! You get the piece you get on Bruizer in dark red/maroon, you get that awesome printed translucent red armour piece, the translucent claws, new head mask and new colour of brain! The new flame pieces are in this set too! (10/10)
Total: 27/30
Again, never beat my last record. That's it for now!

Lego City review: 60017

Here's a set review of set 60017 from the Lego City theme! I bought it at Metro yesterday. Here's a picture of it.

Now, if you ask me the I think that the age group isn't really correct because how in the world can a 5 year old kid tie a knot for the hook? It's just quite weird. Anyway, to the review!
Minifigures: Well, not much to say for this one, but you do get some new minifig pieces! Also, another girl minifigure! Hooray! I need more of these girls! (10/10)
Vehicle: It was indeed fun to build, but while building I realized that a few of the pieces were off the colour scheme for the vehicles. The overall design for the truck also has a bit of a flaw as after I took a video of the function, the plate for carrying vehicles seems to keep popping off. (8 and a half/10)
Pieces: Most new pieces came from the sports car that was spoiled because I don't have much dark red pieces. Of course, the tow truck had new pieces too like the 1x3 tile and the orange truck cover. (9 and a half/10)
Total: 28/30(Highly recommended)
This didn't beat my last record. Oh well. Here's the video showing the hook function.

That's it for now!

Lego Duplo set review: 6785

Here's a review of what my younger sister, Sera bought.  It's a Lego Duplo set and the set number 6785. Here's what Sera has built with the pieces.

I'm very sorry that you can see my Lego blue box at the background. To the review!

Sera said she likes the Lego Duplo set because she likes to eat cakes. :p In my opinion her reason is quite funny. I cannot give rating for this one since I'm not the one who own this set.
Do you like the cakes that Sera built?

Lego Legends of Chima set review: Wakz's pack tracker

Here's a set review of Wakz's pack tracker! I bought this at Metro today. Here's a picture of it.

This set includes 3 minifigures: Equllia, Wakz himself and Winzar
Minifigures: Very detailed and it's nice that the Wakz has shoulder armour. (10/10)
Vehicle: It looks a lot like a wolf and this set is a lot of fun when it comes to playing. I love it very much and more dark red! :D (10/10)
Pieces: Not much new colours, unfortunately. However, I do get a new colour of cross axle!!! Also got a lot of cool new pieces. (9/10)
Total: 29/30 (Same rating as Crawley's claw ripper)
If only this had better pieces this would have gotten a 30/30!! Never mind, it really doesn't matter anyway. That's it for now!

Lego Legends of Chima set review: Crawley's claw ripper

Here's a set review of Crawley's Claw Ripper! I bought this at Metro today. Here's a picture of it.

This set includes 2 minifigures- Leonidas and Crawley.
Minifigures: They are very detailed, very cool and both has a double sided face. However, I do wish they would have some shoulder armour.(9/10)
Vehicle: It looks a lot like a crocodile is coming to attack you and it's just very detailed. Also like the colour they used because it matches Crawley's colours. By the way, even if the vehicle moves forward or backwards, the tracks won't block anything and it moves nicely.(10/10)
Pieces: Standard awesomeness. New colours+ new parts= Totally better MOCs!(10/10)
Total: 29/30-Highly recommended! Wow! Looks like a set finally gotten a 'highly recommended' mark! Will there be a set which hits 30 and beats this one? We shall see...

Lego Hero Factory Brain attack review: Bruizer

Here's a set review of Bruizer! I bought this at Metro yesterday. Here's a picture of it.

Bruizer
Figure: The figure is okay, just that it's quite weird that they gave the character 1 huge fist instead of 2, he has hero feet and the whole right arm is a technic lift arm. I think this year, Lego aims to give at least a function for all of their sets but really to me, it's better to have a normal arm. Here's a video showing the function that Lego put on the figure.

I made a revamp to make up for all those problems.

Bruizer(Revamped)
Colour scheme: Well... Nearly the same comment as Bulk. The head is off colour scheme. Then again, it's not like Lego has made a translucent reddish-orange head for us MOC makers. Other than that, there's nothing much really.
Pieces: Super awesome! I mean look at the variety!!! You have the orange spikes, red small horns(I wished they were transparent red instead, though.), the rock add on pieces, the grey paw, the translucent(Just a bit) orangy-red brain attack creature and his face is just awesome! Imagine how many MOCs I could do with those pieces!!!
Figure: 6 and a half/10
Colour Scheme: 8/10
Pieces: 9 and a half/10
Total: 24/30(Recommended.)
If you want to know how much the points represent, here's the list.
28-30: Highly recomended
20-27: Recommended
15-19(Low chance of coming here): Okay only.
0-14(Extremely low chance of coming here): Not good, not bad.
In my opinion, I think most of my set reviews will fall onto the second section(Recommended) because I'll only buy the ones worth my money. That's it for now!

Lego hero factory brain attack set review: Bulk

Here's a review of Bulk! I bought him at Metro yesterday and here's a picture of it.

This set has a lot of cool pieces like Bulk's new helmet and the visor, the shield, the translucent orangish-red and the silver armour on Bulks's right arm. Two things that I dislike the most is
1. The head is translucent green. I dislike it because it goes out of the colour scheme.
2. No armour on the back. It's just left blank unless you put the shield.
My overall rating:
Figure: 8/10
Colour scheme: 8/10
Pieces: 10/10
Total: 26/30
My total score is 26, so it's just recommended. That's it for now!

Lego Legends of Chima review: Equllia's speedorz

Here's a review of Equallia's speedorz!I bought this speedorz yesterday. Here are 3 pictures of it.

Equallia's speedorz(Without rip cord)
Cards for playing

Speedorz, rip cord and chi fountain
In the pictures, you see an orange item with chi stacked up. I made a small chi fountain with the chi included in the set. However, I actually expected 2 times of the chi included in this set which disappoints me a lot.  It's quite hard to really get the speedorz to move on the ground after you pull the rip cord. I tried to play with this but it keeps stopping half way, stop on spot or flip over which is a bit irritating. Actually, I only gotten this for the chi and I really don't understand what am I supposed to do with the cards. Anyway, that's it for now and hope you enjoyed this review!

Lego Hero Factory review: Ogrum

Here's a Lego set review! It's Ogrum the vegetarian who was transformed into a evil monster by the brain creatures! Anyway, I bought this at Toys R us at City Square Mall. Here's a picture of it.

Ogrum
I like this set because nearly all of it's parts are new.(Except for the bone pieces and the shoulder armour.) I may make a dark green or brown hero/villain MOC, but it really depends because I need to have an idea before I actually build something. Anyway, that's it for now!

Lego Legends Of Chima review: 70012

Here's a set review of the Lego Legends of Chima set 70012! I bought this at NTUC yesterday and this is my birthday present. I'm sorry that I didn't post anything for the whole day during Thursday because it was my birthday then so my parents took me to Marina Bay Sands and to the Art Science Museum  to see the Lego sculptures made by and AFOL(Adult Fan Of Lego). After that, when I got home, it was 9 p.m. and we were busy cutting the cake and I had a lot of homework  which made me can't post on the blog. Here's a picture of it.

I didn't use the black or white background because...
1. If I used a black background, you wouldn't be able to see Razar's vehicle.
2. If I used a white background, you wouldn't be able to see the eagle.(I forgotten what was his name)
I originally wanted to use a green background but I realized that I didn't have the materials needed for making a green background. So, I used sky blue and green together and it turned out pretty well! It looked like it was really on the grass fighting each other! As usual, new parts, new colours, and more purple!!! Also some dark green bricks in the set too. When I disassemble this, you'll most likely see an updated version of my Lego Barbercue Pit MOC which appeared in my Lego Garage MOC and this is the third month it survived! Usually I wouldn't keep something that long, but if I like it a lot, it is possible that it will stay there for 1 month+. A set worth the money and highly recommended because of all the cool new parts introduced to MOC-makers like me. Here's a video showing all the functions included in the set.

That's it for now!

Lego Galaxy Squad review: 70701 Swarm interceptor

Here's a Galaxy Squad review, the Swarm interceptor! I bought this at Metro two days ago. Here's a picture of it.

This set has a lot of new pieces like the huge white wing pieces, the transparent greenish yellow piece on the alien's speed bike, the new windshield piece, the new shade of blue, the transparent pink piece, black small horns and the piece for the sliding door. I also like the mosquito alien head. Here's a video showing the functions of the blue team's vehicle.

This vehicle also has a lot of dark blue grill pieces. Here's a picture of the small comparison between the normal shade of blue and the new shade which came with this set.

That's it for now!

Lego legends of Chima set 70000 review: Razcal's glider

Here's a set review of Razar's chi glider! Here's a picture of it.

Razar's chi glider
I really like this set, considering it only costs S$19.90 and it has a lot of parts which I don't have like a lot of those dark red plates, some purple,(I love purple and that partly explains Shaun Burst, my HF self MOC being purple)new colours for the robot hand pieces, the new feather pieces, the piece used as the raven's 'nose' and just too much new stuff that I can't say all the new parts. His printing on the torso is just awesome and really reflects the thief look. I also like the function of being able to shoot out the staff which is attached onto a long Lego chain piece. My overall rating of this set would be 9.5/10.
Pros:
New feather pieces
Purple bricks
Printed tile piece
New colours for the robot hand pieces
Dark red pieces
Awesome detailing
Cons:
Bone piece for steering wheel(Seriously?)
Weapon is required to take apart just to put on the vehicle.
The part which has a cross axle hole and a minifig sized pin moulded together is off the colour scheme.
That's it for now and I hope you enjoy this review!

Lego Hero Factory set review: Evo

I bought this yesterday at a Lego store in Thomson Plaza! Its is set number is 6200 and here's a picture of him:

He is one of the smaller sets of the Lego Hero Factory series. I bought this set because I wanted some yellow armour pieces. (I didn't buy Evo 2.0, so that's why I need yellow armour pieces) I really like everything on him except for that short arm on his left. That's it for now and I hope you enjoyed this review!

Lego Hero Factory review: Toxic Reepa

Today, I went to OG bought this Lego Hero Factory Toxic Reepa set.  Here's a picture of it.

This set has a lot of cool new pieces although it's so called a small set. Here's a picture of Toxic Reepa fighting Laser, a hero MOC that I have made.

That's it for now and I hope you enjoyed this review!
